A Florida tourist, Edil Kasenov, has filed a lawsuit against Airboat Rides at Midway, seeking over $50,000 in damages. He alleges he was bitten in the face by an alligator during a complimentary encounter following an airboat tour in June 2025.
Kasenov's complaint claims negligence, citing inadequate safety measures, lack of warnings, and insufficient employee training. He asserts the incident resulted in permanent physical impairment and emotional distress.
The attraction disputes the allegations, stating Kasenov ignored safety instructions and the alligator, with a secured mouth, merely startled and caused minor scratches. The case is pending in court.
