This initiative includes replacing the Sentosa Express monorail and fortifying Sentosa's beaches against rising sea levels.
Concurrently, the iconic Orchard Road shopping belt is undergoing a significant refresh. Plans include redeveloping the 37 Emerald Hill site into a mixed-use complex and launching a 3,000-capacity event space by late 2026 to host live performances. These efforts, alongside increased support for local heartland businesses, aim to boost Singapore's tourism appeal and economic vitality.
