The man, identified as Zeeshan Ahmad Mir, claims he initiated the journey after maintaining online contact with the woman from Uri.

During the investigation, security agencies are meticulously verifying Mir's claims and examining his digital communication with the woman. This incident occurs amidst heightened security along the LoC. In a separate operation, three individuals from Sopore, including a suspended Territorial Army member, were apprehended while attempting to cross into PoK, highlighting ongoing border security challenges.
