Architectural firm Sheppard Robson has secured approval for 168 new social homes in Brent, North London, as part of the ongoing Grand Union Canal masterplan. This development, known as Phase 4b, contributes to the larger vision of delivering approximately 3,350 homes across seven phases on a former industrial site.

The broader masterplan commits to 35 percent affordable housing.
Sheppard Robson has been instrumental in the masterplan's development, having previously designed Phases 1 and 2, which are now complete and include a significant number of affordable units. While Phase 3 is approved, Phase 4c is currently under review. This latest approval underscores the project's progression towards providing much-needed housing and enhancing urban living standards.
